A lifelong tomboy herself, Bruonis founder Ashley J George started the line in 1996 when she tired of shopping in the men's section. While she appreciated the comfort and flexibility of menswear, it was still made with men in mind.

Thus Bruonis was born. The tomboy clothing line features more appropriate designs for active, athletic women along with everyday comfort in mind.

Though this isn't the only goal of Bruonis. We want to create and foster a community of women that break boundaries and change society. We hope to foster this community through providing relevant stories, information and events.
